For those of you that don't know, we're The Maggies. Maggie Lamb on the left and Maggie Wooten Brown on the right. Together we make up The Ladies Network. 

 

The story of how we got here is a little unorthodox. The stars randomly aligned and we happened to be at the same place at the same time, Oglethorpe Garage, one of our local favorites. We had a mutual friend who introduced us and the rest is history. From there, we both volunteered for a co-ed networking organization in the Athens, GA area. We introduced the idea of a women's event in conjunction with our monthly co-ed meetups. One thing led to another, and we made the decision to leave the original organization and start The Ladies Network. 

 

The Ladies Network was founded out of a need we saw in our college town community. It's not easy making friends as an adult, let alone in a town full of college students in completely different stages of life. That's where we come in!

 

Our events are laid-back, safe environments where women can go to meet new friends, network with other women in business, or just to hangout. Our goal is to create and foster new professional and personal relationships within our community. 

 

We meet monthly, rarely having the same type of event in a row. Happy hours, karaoke, private shopping parties, the list continues to evolve. We can’t wait to meet you!
